Dr. Ron Humason, DVM
Dr. Humason received his Bachelor of Arts in Animal Husbandry and his DVM from U.C. Davis in 1957. He worked for two years in Dinuba before buying Kaweah Veterinary Clinic in 1959. In 1974 he started what is now Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), and the Tulare-Kings Veterinary Medical Association (TKVMA). After raising 5 children, he keeps busy with his many talents including being an artist, writer, handyman/constructor, and farmer. Look for his paintings on walls throughout the clinic. He lives with his two Boston Terriers, “Emiley” and “Lovey”.
Dr. Matt Humason, DVM
Dr. Matt was raised in Visalia. He attended Fresno State where he received his Bachelor of Science with a major in Animal Science. He then went on to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where he received his DVM in 1994, and did a clinical year at Oklahoma State University. He practiced in Shoshone, Idaho; Northern California; and Oregon before finding his way back to Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic. He is a member of the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and the Tulare-Kings Veterinary Medical Association (TKVMA). He enjoys orthopedic surgery and spending time with his daughter, Elizabeth; son, Zach; Chihuahua, “Dutchess”; St. Bernard, “Jilly” and Domestic Shorthair, “Chubs”.
Dr. Autumn Davidson, DVM
DVM, MS, Dipl. American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine
Dr. Davidson obtained her BS and MS at the University of California, Berkeley, with an emphasis on wildlife ecology and management. Dr. Davidson is a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California, Davis. She completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Texas A&M University, and a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis. She became board certified in internal medicine in 1992. Dr. Davidson is a clinical professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California, Davis, in the department of medicine and epidemiology. She specializes in small animal theriogenology and infectious diseases. Additionally, Dr. Davidson practices at Pet Care Veterinary Hospital, a private wellness, emergency, and specialty care practice in Santa Rosa CA, and Lone Oak Veterinary Hospital in Three Rivers CA.

Cassie Nielson, Veterinary Assistant
Cassie was born in Tulare and graduated from Hanford High School. She lives with her husband, Bruce, and their daughter, Cheyenne. She loves animals and has been surrounded by them since birth. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, trips to the beach, and football. Go Niners!

Laura Humason - Practice Manager
Laura Jane was raised in Visalia and has been surrounded by animals all her life. She has been working for Lone Oak off and on since opening in 1974. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Science from Fresno State. She lives with her Pugs, “Bubba” and “Bug”. In her free time she enjoys theater, art, reading, and traveling.
Melinda Humason, Office Manager
Melinda grew up in Visalia. She is a teacher at St. Paul’s during the week and a receptionist at Lone Oak on Saturdays. The rest of her time is spent with her daughter, Marley, and Boston Terrier, “Ellie Mae”. Some of her best pets have been rescue dogs. “I have learned that without pets my wallet would be full, my house would be clean, but my heart would be empty!”
Carrie Solis, Client Care Coordinator
Carrie grew up in a rural area of Tulare county and has been a receptionist at Lone Oak since 2007. She lives with her two children and their Maltese/Poodle mix named Bear. She loves the outdoors, reading, and spends much of her time volunteering at her children’s school and traveling to baseball games with her kids.
