Pet Endoscopy

An endoscopy is a minimally-invasive procedure that helps doctors diagnose diseases. Our doctors at Lone Oak Veterinary Clinic we use endoscopy to view inside of your pet's body and visualize the organs and internal systems without performing any surgery, resulting in less pain, faster recovery time, and fewer complications.

An endoscopy involves the use of endoscopes--small cameras--that can be guided throughout your pet's body through natural openings in the body (mouth or anus). The endoscope is a tube with a camera and light on the tip. Our doctors are able to take biopsies utilizing specialized instruments inserted through the channel in the endoscope.
